TSA level facial identification required to ship socks

I’ve now spent close to 24 hours back and forth with support trying to “validate my identification” to ship a $12 package.
If your system can’t take a passport image and a selfie and check that box, it really revisit how effective that is.
I took my package to USPS myself and paid $4 more. Which is far cheaper than continuing down this back and forth support path.
